Hydrometer -2 to 15 Baume model RONREN

Measures sugar density in wine and must. Measures in half increments from -2 to 15.

Fill a measuring cylinder with the juice and carefully float the hydrometer in the juice.

When it stops moving read the level where the juice cuts across the hydrometer stem. This is the level of sugar remaining in the juice.

A wine that has finished fermenting should read -1.0 Baume.
