~ Darebin Homemade Food & Wine Festival ~

In a couple of weeks Darebin throws it's arms open to all those home makers & people wanting to learn as it hosts the 2017 Darebin Homemade Food & Wine festival. This festival will showcase food & wine making traditions from all walks of life throughout Darebin & indeed the globe. Look forward to a supper from Syria, Kimchi from Korea, Roti from Mumbai & Momo's from tibet to name just a few. 

The Home Make It team will be showing it's wares in a few different ways during the festival, so get out your calendar, clear it & read on....

Introduction to Homemade Wine Making

On Saturday 3rd of June at 11.30am in the Northcote town hall we will be running through the basics of making Vino at home. This is a free event.  

Townhall Brew 

On Saturday 3rd June at 1pm we will be filling the Northcote Town hall with the lovely aromas of malt & hops, as we do a live homebrew. This is a free demo, so please feel free to wander over, watch the process & ask as many questions as you like. Any excuse to talk beer ! 

Salami Masterclass

On Sunday the 4th at noon, we team up with James from The Meat Room for a no hold barred Salami Masterclass. We will break down the meat, mince, fill & finally chat about the all important curing process. On top of all this you also get a light meal & a Home Make It Salami & Sausage equipment kit valued at $125 RRP. This is a deal too good to be true.
