Cheese Starter Culture suitable for soft and mould ripen cheeses.This aromatic Mesophilic culture is primarily used in the making of Gorgonzola, Roquefort and other soft cheeses. Soft cheeses vary widely in nutritional composition, depending on whether they belong to the ripened or unripened varieties. A packet of this size is used for 50lt of milk.
Cheese making is an ancient process of culturing milk. Using a cheese culture helps good bacteria in the milk flourish and leads to a more fully developed flavor in the final cheese. Combining a blend of Mesophilic Cheese Cultures and White Mould Spores, this culture is ideal for making your own Soft Cheeses at home.
Please note this product needs refrigeration, therefore extra postage costs have been added to this product to allow for the extra packaging.
