Used in producing a variety of fresh, soft and semi-hard cheeses, including Chevre, Creme Fraiche, Fromage Blanc, Neufchatel, Quark and Cream Cheese
Dosage:
100-litre sachet:
- Suitable for 100 litres of milk
- 1 sachet used for 25 doses suitable for 4 litres of milk each
- 2 Free Sterile Jar with every pack
Consists of:
- Lactococcus lactis ssp. lactis,
- Lactococcus lactis ssp. cremoris
- Lactococcus lactis ssp. lactis biovar diacetylactis,
- Leuconostoc.
and is standardized in strength with a small quantity of
- Maltodextrin
Optimal temperature for growth: 25-35 degrees celsius. Max: 39 degrees celsius
Storage: Included with your culture are two sterile jars for storing your culture in the freezer. Tip: Always allow your culture to come to room temperature before opening and handling.
When stored correctly freeze-dried lactic cultures are typically viable long after any date on the pack.
